Chelsey Scheffe created the initial concept (pictured at the bottom) as an illustration for Slayer Espresso Machines, and they asked me to modify it for use on a t-shirt and to brand it for their new annual summit series.

Solving for X

Brand theme for Slayer’s secondary tagline “Solving for X”, which alludes to their aim to pick an aspect of a barista’s job (X) and create a solution using their advances in product design, as depicted in the icon set.

Songwa Estate

La Marzocco asked us to watercolor a set of pictograms for a series of cards talking about the different aspects of their coffee farm Songwa, co-owned with Mahlkoenig. The cards were printed and displayed at the La Marzocco Cafe in Seattle, as well as various global distributors’ showrooms.
